About the event

Objective: The Crisis Management Contest aims to test participants' ability to handle and resolve simulated crisis situations effectively and efficiently. Rules and Guidelines: Eligibility:
  1. The event is open to students of Classes 9 to 12.
  2. Participants must register in advance to secure their participation in the event.

Team Composition:

  1. The competition may involve individual participation or teams of two [Double Delegation]
  2. Each delegate/delegation will be provided with a specific portfolio prior to the event using official channels.

Scenario and Simulation:

  1. Participants will be provided with the agenda one week prior to the event.
  2. Participants will have an online meeting with the committee Chairperson and Co-Chairperson after the agenda has been disclosed. This ensures that the students get acclimatised with the committee proceedings.


  1. The specific Rules of Procedure will be communicated to the participants via the Chairperson.

Evaluation criteria are as follows:

  1. Problem Solving and Decision-Making
  • Individuals should demonstrate effective problem-solving skills and decision-making abilities throughout the contest.
  • The ability to assess risks, prioritise actions, and consider ethical implications will be evaluated.
  1. Communication and Collaboration:
  • Effective communication within the team is crucial for successful crisis management, bearing in mind the Foreign Policies of the specific country assigned.
  • Individuals should demonstrate coordination, collaboration, and clear communication among team members during the simulation.


  1. Participants or teams may be disqualified if they violate any of the event rules or guidelines.
  2. The event organisers reserve the right to disqualify any participant or team if their actions are deemed unfair or against the spirit of the event.
